Fairfax County Contract Ratification Resources

Fairfax County workers with FCGEU/SEIU Virginia 512 recently reached a tentative agreement (TA) with the county on our first union contract.

This win was more than 19 years in the making. County employees organized, worked together with partners and allies to overturn the ban on collective bargaining for public sector employees in Virginia, voted for their union this spring, and are now on the verge of having a true voice in the workplace with a binding contract.

But we are not there yet. We must vote YES to approve our contract for it to go into effect. In-person voting will take place at various locations around the county from October 6 through October 24.

RSVP and let us know when and where you plan to vote.

This resource page has all the information you need to make your voice heard.

Reminder… only union members can vote on our contract. If you aren’t a member yet, sign on now! Also, make sure to bring your Fairfax worker badge with you to the polling location. That will help us verify your information before you vote.
